Anolyte Corrosion Liner: Alpolit UF-797 (Alphacor 6000)
Catholyte Corrosion Liner: PPH-2222
After receiving contracts to engineer, design and fabricate complicated Dual Laminate piping systems for many Membrane facilities, CPF Dualam Vancouver Inc. was chosen by Krupp UHDE to supply all the complicated Polypropylene/FRP collection headers for the collection of Catholyte at 95°C and FRP Anolyte headers for Chlorine Collection.
In other projects, such as Olin Chemical at Macintosh, Alabama, CPF Dualam Vancouver Inc. again fabricated the Catholyte Headers and Anolyte Headers. CPF Dualam Vancouver Inc. designed the system using DIN standards and translated them to produce a world class priority equipment system. A highly resilient Polypropylene Block Co-Polymer PPH-2222 resin made by Hoechst Chemical was chosen by UHDE based on 10 years of recent corrosion data.
CPF Dualam Vancouver Inc. also worked with the European favourite Alpolit UF-797 Modified Polyester Resin (Alphacor 6000) for the first time in North America and data reveals the service life can be extended in Chlorine gas from 5 - 15 years at operating temperature and service conditions.
The ability of CPF Dualam Vancouver Inc. Plastics Engineering and Contract Administration Team to complete the difficult project at a high level of quality was rated very highly by the satisfied customer.
